1st Intercollegiate Aeromodelling Competition at CCH

The 1st CCH Intercollegiate Aero-modelling Competition took place in the College’s Winlaw Grounds today.

Among other teams, aero-modellers from Military College Jhelum, PAF College Lower Topa and Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute College participated. Dr Humayun Qureshi of Air Weapons Complex (PhD in Aerodynamics) performed the duties of Judge and Ex-Principal CCH, Air Commodore Tayyab Akhtar (an F-16 Pilot) was the worthy Chief Guest of the Day.

The Competition consisted of both a static display as well as of flying aerobatics. Each Pilot was to execute a vertical loop, an aileron-roll, steep turns and figure-of-8.

The CCH Team was declared the overall Winner and PAF College Lower Topa took the Runners-up slot.

The college is indebted to 9th Entry and Brig Nooruddin Ahmad for infusing a new life in the CCH Aero-modelling Club.
