CCH becomes a Microsoft School

Hurrah!!! The College has earned the status of being a Microsoft School.

CCH has come a long way from where it started its journey 64 years ago, and is ready to take-on new challenges. With Pakistan at the centre-stage of many controversies in the global perceptions, we need to equip our scholars with the IT skills to not only excel and distinguish in multi-cultural global settings, but to also prove effective ambassadors of a progressive Pakistan. It’s time for us to break out of our national shell now, and to prepare our graduates for the greater challenges of a cosmopolitan global village.

CCH is well aware of the importance of IT in the current age and in the years to come. It is not progressing itself in IT, but also trying to revamp society and the education system of Pakistan. It has stepped into the IT world and is progressing with the each new day and trying to cope up with the ever progressing world; and becoming a Microsoft School will definitely enhance this scope globally. CCH has deployed a great IT atmosphere at the campus and the day is not far when it would stand among the top performers of the world in integrating technology in to the curriculum; and that would be the time to be called a Showcase School, which would serve as a Role Model for others to follow.

Mr Amir Rauf (HOD Computer Science) presented the case of CCH before Microsoft to earn this status and got it approved. Besides this, six of the teachers of CCH Mr Kaleem Mustafa (Vice Principal & HOD Physics), Mr Amjad Mahmood Janjua (DVP Academics), Mr Amir Rauf (HOD Computer Science), Mr Mushtaq Ahmad Khalil (Computer Dept), Mr Muazam Ali Saqib (Maths Dept) and Mr Mueen Akhtar Tahir (English Dept) were declared as MIEE (Microsoft Innovative Expert Educators). Hearty congrats to all of them.

The college owes this success to an old Abdalian Mr Faisal Mushtaq and his team from Roots Millennium School (Ms Tayyaba Noureen and Mr Waqas Shafiq who helped a lot in achieving this milestone.
